I'm a coach who has your back. Weight lifters are comfortable challenging themselves to new limits because they have a spotter. As your coach I'm there to aid the lift. To encourage you and cheer you on with rock solid confidence. It's that confidence that coaching provides so you can explode into greater weights and life challenges knowing you have a spotter to help you to lift the weight. I provide Unconditional Acceptance and Acknowledgement - No matter what you do or don't do. No matter how many times you fall short or listen to your fears instead of your heart, as coach I'm there supporting you in the absence of judgment. The longing for unconditional support and encouragement regardless of results answers a long held deep inner need to connect safely and to be championed, loved and accepted. I'm with you. In rugby sometimes penalties are awarded to the opposing team just five meters out from the try line. This is the (goal) line that your team must defend. Picture 8 men averaging 220 pounds each getting a running start. The biggest bruiser, often weighting upwards of 250, running full speed, has the ball at the head of that pack. You must stand your ground on your goal line and wait for them almost until they arrive. Because of my size and determination I was often the man that stood in the center of that waiting line, knowing that I'd be sacrificing my head and shoulders with no helmet or pads, to bring down that giant short of the goal line. It was then at that level of focus that I heard these confidence inspiring words from my mates. Standing shoulder to shoulder with me they would say, "I'm with you." Together we often stopped the brute. Your fear is like that bruiser. If you allow it to, it will run you over. Up until now your fear has had a running start on your life and may be pressuring you to take few risks and to play a smaller game than you're capable of playing. When standing alone, we look at the fear and doubt our resolve to face it. But as your coach I'm with you and I bring that same level of focused ferocity to your coaching. As my client you'll enjoy that same level of heightened stand-by-me confidence. Together we'll bring the same awareness and courage that supported my teammates on the rugby pitch.
